George Smith is a 25 year old abstract digital artist and has been creating for 8 years. George's surreal vision of the world portrayed in his work is filled with overlapping layers of lines, photos, text, and abstract shapes that all come together to form a unique and original point of view. He describes his heavily photo-manipulated work as "controlled chaos" that combines his own photography with 2d and 3d elements.

These high resolution wallpapers show off the detail of every painting to the point where it is possible to see every brush stroke. From Leonardo Da Vinci to Monet. Look under the category view and select paintings to view these newly added wallpapers. You may also browse these painters by selecting Wallpaper from the menu then "By Artist" and view a list of the current artists on our site.

He recently has moved into shooting nature scenes which you can see more of on his website.
A total of ten wallpapers were added from his collection with plenty more on his website. Most of his images are available in a high resolution format and should make any HD screen the envy of all your friends. Derek has been featured in several design magazines and has won several awards for his talents in graphic design. He was an instructor at New England Tech and is now assisting in the design of a site: thedilly.com which targets students and provides an immense online community for interaction between the users.
